Where Is Unite Dance Studio?
We are centrally located in Point Cook, at Saltwater P-9 College:
15 Kirra Place, Point Cook.
Our classes are held in the dance studio at the school, which is right next to the gymnasium.
If you enter the schoolgrounds through the gate on Carrick St and walk straight past the staff carpark (on your right)
you'll then arrive at the gym. Walk past the double doors and you'll quickly approach the dance studio on your right!

How much does it cost?
As we are a performance-based school, we invoice classes by the term, and do not offer casual class payments.
The cost for term fees varies depending on the length of the class. Give us a call and we will be able to tell you what your term fees will cost based on the classes you are attending.
A $35 annual levy is also payable for each student, which covers insurance and admin costs.
We do not charge a concert/performance levy. The only additional cost to you at concert time is a costume hire fee of $32 per routine.
How do I enrol in your classes?

We will then provide you with all the info you need to get started, and a link access to our online portal
so that you can register!
what performances do students participate in?
We put on two showcases each year - one Mid Year Showcase at the end of Term 2,
and one End of Year Showcase at the end of Term 4.
We also love to offer our students as many opportunities as possible to grow their confidence and stage experience, and therefore regularly participate in local events throughout the year where our dancers get the chance to perform.
While these performances are not compulsory, we encourage all students to get involved. After all, it's lots of FUN!
Do I Have To Sew Costumes?
Nope! We understand you don't need another thing on your 'to-do' list, so we handle all of that for you.
We provide costumes to students for every performance they partake in. You simply pay a hire fee of $32 per costume, and we take care of sewing, mending and laundering for you. Easy!
Do I Have To Purchase A Uniform?
No, we do not require students to purchase expensive uniforms.
However we do ask that all students wear appropriate, tight fitting attire to all classes (except Hip Hop).
School uniforms, along with denim and non-stretch clothing are not permitted.
Hair must be worn tied up and off the face, and jewellery items such as watches, bracelets, rings, etc should not be worn to dance classes.
We also require that all students wear the correct footwear required for their dance style.

We do have a range of dancewear that is available to be ordered, if students would like a
custom printed t-shirt / leotard / hoodie, etc to wear to dancing.

What Shoes Do I Need?
Each dance style requires appropriate footwear. Please see requirements below.
Jazz: Black, split sole Jazz Shoes
Ballet: Pink Ballet Shoes
Hip Hop: Own sneakers/runners may be worn
Tap: Black Tap Shoes with a buckle strap
Lyrical / Contemporary: Foot Thongs or bare feet
